Sarjo is a good and trusted guide. Nice and very polite, good manners.
I hope to go to The Gambia again in January 2013 and Sarjo is going to guide me again, like he did before several times.
He speaks Dutch, wich is very convinient.
I can recommend him to you!

Mister Sarjo was my guide for the Senegal trip. This trip was amazing. It's a whole adventure crossing the sea to go to Senegal. Mister Sarjo is an excellent tourguide. He really takes care of his customers. He also invited me for a traditional Gambian dish with his family. This really was an unique experience for me. It is so interesting to see how Gambian people living and to be a part of it for 1 day. Again many thanks Sarjo for making my stay in Gambia unforgetable.

April 2013.
We’ve been on holiday in The Gambia from 17-04-2013 to 01-05-2013. We had a wonderful holiday because of our guide Sarjo. We made about 5 trips through The Gambia with him, and visited several interesting places. We went to the local market in Banjul and the harbour, Katchikally, Lamin Lodge, Juffereh (place of birth of Kunte Kinthe), James Island, Abuko Nature park, Wassu Stone Circles  and several museums. The visit to Georgetown was an exiting experience, also because of the overnight stay in Baobolong Camp and the boattrip on the River Gambia. The fishermen of Tanji, the unloading of the boats and the negosiation that comes with it, is a world apart. We also visited the compound of Sarjo’s family in Serrekunda. Sarjo speaks Dutch wich is a great advantage.
By all means we had an unforgettable holiday.

For a couple of days was Sarjo Jallow my guide in the Gambia. We went to places that were the straight toeristplaces. You can ask him where you want to go to and he makes it done. Sarjo is nice so you will recieve a lot of The Gambia hospitality. For sure with Sarjo you are in with The Gambia Experience.

Mei 2012. With much pleasure I have made several excursions with Sarjo as a guide. We have been on splendid spots and I have visited locations where I would not come without him as a guide.
Museums, Nature Areas, boat excursions. It was wonderful. He also took me to his family for lunch. His sister-in-law is a very good cook. We had delicious Gambian food. I was in The Gambia for the first time, but I have a good idea now of how relaxed life is here. I only can say: just do it.

Dear people,

We and our 2 children of 12 years old made a terrific trip to Georgetown. We’ve seen and experienced a lot. Sarjo really made something special of this trip. It started already on the ferry of Banjul. We were lucky that Sarjo was able to arrange some seats. Our trip started towards inland. On this route we stopped whenever we or Sarjo saw something interesting, which was often and many times. Exactly like we wanted it. De Wasu circles and a boattrip In between made it complete. Ofcourse we enjoyded a wonderful lunch in Farafenni. The night in Georgetown was perfectly arranged and also the tour went fine. On our way back we met Sarjo’s family and saw how they lived in their villages. We also visited a school. Sarjo always arranges something extra. Because Sarjo speaks Dutch resonably, our children, (who did speak some English but not yet fluent) found this trip great. And we could enjoy together. Fun ! So do it !!

I visited The Gambia several times from 1994 till 1997 en even then Sarjo was our guide. He knows where to find all the beautiful places . We really had unforgettable holidays with him. It was a nice surprise to find out that Sarjo still does the guiding in this beautiful country after all these years and he even has his own website. I will recommend him with all my heart to everyone who wants to see more of The Gambia !!!
